Dogwood 'Pagoda'

Cornus alternifolia - A small native tree with tiered, horizontal branching. Bark becomes striped on older specimens. Unless container grown, should only be planted in spring.

Zone 3. 6m x 6m. Blue-black fruit with yellow-white flowers. Spreading, tiered branching form. Dark green foliage turning red-purple in the fall. Part sun to part shade. Moist, well drained, acidic soil.
